Placed Between Perfection & Deficiency
This representational painting seeks to portray the story of Adam and Eve when they were banished from the Garden of Eden. The clash of good and evil, of perfection and imperfection. Eve is this focus of his work, she is very magical and beautiful, a symbol of purity and perfection. Adam is not shown, however his spirit is ever present and understood. It begs to ask the question, if humans are provided with the path (represented in the painting as stepping stones) to what is good and truthful, will we follow it? If we dig deeper into the psyche, asking, why do humans float between good and evil. Why is the pull of temptation so strong and overpowering? There are two sides to everything. Which side will you choose.
